The Rake on “Climate Change”

Posted by telecommatt on March 4, 2007

This month’s Rake Magazine has a little sidebar in the Rakish Angle section that I can’t resist sharing. I can’t find the actual spot on their site, but it’s on page 22 if you want to follow along. Disclaimer: You might have to be Minnesotan to understand some of these.

Spinning “Climate Change”

Some reasons to feel better about imminent planet-wide meltdown:

Aquatennial and Winter Carnival to merge.
    More Speedo time!
Northwest passage soon to be completed.
Global warming: Beats the hell out of an ice age.
It’s treatable! Sort of like a meteorological bi-polar disorder.
Won’t that hole in the ozone be a handy escape hatch when the planet blows up?
