More On Prioritizing Your RSS Feeds

How To: Prioritize Your Feed Subscriptions by Reading Habits

To make his web site feed subscriptions more manageable, blogger Matt Wood organizes them not by topic, but by how much he can stand to miss ’em.

Actually, this is very similar to my own previously posted method for organizing my Google Reader feeds. Instead of labeling them "Can’t miss…", etc., I give them a priority of 1 through 5. For example, Lifehacker is in my 1 folder. Robert Scoble’s link blog is currently in my 3 folder. I read my 1 folder first, then my 2 folder, and so on.

Goofy Mousing Is Good For Your Brain (And Your Health)

Posted by telecommatt on September 26, 2007

Not kidding– I’ve been doing this for years and everyone told me I was weird! It helps with back and neck strain too.

Mind Hacks: Why You Should Mouse with the Other Hand

Blogger Dumb Little Man says that being ambidextrous with the mouse can increase your brain power:

By
switching the side of your mouse-pad you will force yourself to use
your non-dominant hand. This, in turn, will stimulate the neural
connections between the right and left hemispheres on your brain.
Scientific research confirmed that people that use both hands equally
have 10% more nerve fibers joining the two sides of the brain.

Mousing “goofy” can also help you stop RSI. Here’s how to train yourself to mouse with the other hand.
